OMM SOM project is a project of music video album made from the collage of my own digital waste, both sound recordings and digital video recordings from everyday life. Both sound and image are edited together. I like to tell is a work of “self-found footage”, because is always material from many years ago, memories I would have forgotten if the documentation wasn’t there.

“A video-album of memories, everyday images woven into timeless songs, times that come together in tiny poems and quasi-songs. Soundtracks for rendering moments, a chest of abandoned media, relations of the years, dated programming languages. An electroacoustic record being hacked. The delicacy of the glitch, the subtle noise of events, we that unlearn the music. Mantras of gratitude, criticisms of urban pollution, or simply we can not even understand what is being said between the whisper and the smile. Common everyday affairs that flow with the earth in a good sound.”
